- Eric Brunner is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He plays drums, guitar, piano, and sings. He was born in San Diego, CA and began his music journey with piano lessons in elementary school. That didn’t last more than a couple of years before he got bored of it. In middle school, Eric began taking drum lessons. After about 10 years of playing drums (as well as instructing drum students), he decided he wanted to learn how to play guitar. With the guitar, came the singing – and that’s where he started branching out and performing.
Eric attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and obtained his B.S. in Information Systems. During his time at Cal Poly, his music really began to take root. He performed on a regular basis at the San Luis Obispo Farmer’s Market (the largest Farmer’s Market in California) and surrounding San Luis Obispo restaurants, venues, and wineries. In college, Eric also played regularly at San Diego venues/breweries whenever he would visit home. In 2015, Eric was selected to perform at the San Diego County Fair. In 2017 he performed at the California State Fair for the first time.
After graduating college, Eric landed a job working in IT for a software company in Northern California.
During his performances, Eric will primarily play covers. Some of his favorite artists include Jason Mraz & Ed Sheeran, but he plays a wide variety of music ranging from pop to country and classic rock.
